Description:

To provide an interdenominational ministry of love and care designed to meet the
needs of Carroll County residents in emergency situations. Offers rent, energy and
medical assistance, and food and clothing from our onsite Food Pantry and Thrift
Store. Assistance in other areas is also available through our cooperative outreach
programs. The thrift store is open to the public and donations are welcomed.

The Carroll County Health Department is one of 24 local health departments under the Maryland Department of Health. We work closely with Carroll County Government, and the Carroll County Commissioners serve as the Board of Health. The Health Department is funded by federal, state and county funding, as well as grants and fees for services.
