National Pike Health Center has been serving Maryland residents since 2001 worth multiple locations. Recently, in August 2023, National Pike expanded to Carroll County providing individual, psychiatric rehabilitative and medication management services to all with Medicare and/or Medicaid insurance. National Pikes goal is to restore individuals to their highest level of functioning while empowering them to be a key part of how their care is delivered. The Carroll County Health Department is one of 24 local health departments under the Maryland Department of Health. We work closely with Carroll County Government, and the Carroll County Commissioners serve as the Board of Health. The Health Department is funded by federal, state and county funding, as well as grants and fees for services.
